I have been gathering people together to sing for almost 20 years. My singing sessions are dynamic and uplifting with no pressure to rehearse towards performances. They are accessible and inclusive and open to experienced and non-experienced singers alike.

I run two choirs: Songbirds - a folk choir in East Bristol, and Grief Choir - a safe supportive and uplifting space for people living with grief to come together and sing.

I also run ad-hoc pop-up workshops .in Bristol, with no need to book - drop-ins welcome.

All my workshops require no experience, all songs are taught by ear and everyone is welcome.

I advertise for all my sessions on my social media feeds and via my mailing list. If you wish to find out more please do get in touch!

Testimonial:

Jannah's choir is simply gorgeous. The song choices are always heart warming, uplifting, jolly and/or filled with a raw beauty that can sometimes make you cry. She is superb at ensuring everyone is included, feels valued and believes in themselves. The way she teaches with a smile and uses her whole body make learning an absolute pleasure. I always leave Songbirds feeling uplifted. And as someone joked last week your step count goes up dramatically as its hard not to move! I can't read music and I find it hard to remember lyrics but I feel like I can sing and learn with Jannah. Her ability to hold so many songs and harmonies in her head is truly mind blowing. Songbirds with Jannah is a delight and my stress level's definitely increase when I am unable to attend.
