I trained as an actor at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama 2004 - 2007.
This solid grounding in working practices and process, was a springboard from which to begin working in theatre in the UK and Europe.
I took a detour into the world of circus, working with the critically acclaimed Giffords Circus for two years as a singer and musician (tenor sax and violin). This was a formative experience, from where I began to expand into the world of live music for performance.
I moved to Bristol in 2010 and have since been working and raising my family here. I have collaborated with a number of local theatres and companies (Bristol Old Vic, Verity Standen Projects/Mayk, Pickled Image, The Wardrobe Theatre, Soap Soup) as an actor/musician, devisor, singer, performer and musical director.
I have toured across the UK performing at festivals and venues such as the Edinburgh Fringe, The Southbank Centre, The National Theatre's River Stage, St George's Bristol and Bristol Cathedral.
In 2015 I was nominated for a Wales Theatre Award for my performance in the Welsh premiere of Philip Ridley's Tender Napalm with Company of Sirens.
